Mulch & Bed Maintenance
Fresh mulch, clean edges and beds that stay weeded, which is most of what makes a yard look finished rather than just cut.
Mulch is the cheapest thing you can do to a yard that reads as a real improvement from the street, and it does actual work: it holds moisture, moderates soil temperature and keeps most weeds from ever germinating.
I pull existing weeds first, re-cut the bed edge, then lay mulch at a depth that will last the season without burying the crowns of what’s planted there.
What’s included
- Hand weeding before anything is laid
- Bed edges re-cut by hand
- Mulch laid at a consistent seasonal depth
- Shrub bases kept clear, no mulch volcanoes
- Pine straw or hardwood, your preference

Customers who have been with me a while.
Same truck, same day, every week. He is the one who quoted it and he is the one who shows up, which isn’t how the last two companies worked.
He told me the new bed should wait until fall so the shrubs would take, and every one of them did. That’s why he still cuts my yard.
I’ve never had to explain the gate or the dog twice. Small thing, but it’s why I stopped shopping around.
The fall cleanup is worth it on its own. My grass comes back in March ahead of everyone on the street.
He answers his own phone. I called at seven on a Tuesday and had a price by lunch.
